Provider Biography

The state of cancer care is rapidly evolving. As a medical oncologist, my goal is to deliver a high-quality, evidence-based approach to my patients, ensuring that each individual receives the best possible treatment tailored to their unique needs. Achieving this goal requires a multidisciplinary process that enhances patient care and improves outcomes. At Rutgers Cancer Institute, the only NCI designated comprehensive cancer center in the state of New Jersey, I believe this goal can be achieved.

I received my medical degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada West Indies and completed my training in internal medicine at Norwalk Hospital/Yale School of Medicine (now Nuvance Health) where I also served as chief medical resident. I received my fellowship training in hematology and oncology at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire and subsequently remained on as faculty at the Geisel School of Medicine, practicing community based hematology/oncology while participating in clinical trials and academic research. I also served as the associate program director of the hematology/oncology fellowship program at Dartmouth.

With a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development, I hope to foster trust and collaboration with my patients and colleagues while making a significant impact on patient outcomes and overall well-being.
