Rafael Nigri

Dr. Nigri received his Medical Degree from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UNIRIO) in Brazil. He then completed an Internal Medicine Residency at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) before applying for a residency position in the United States. Dr. Nigri came to Rutgers NJMS, initially as an Internal Medicine resident in 2019, and then after completion, assumed a position as Clinical Instructor for the Internal Medicine Department. Dr. Nigri has an interest in Academic Internal Medicine and alternates between working as private primary care physician, clinic preceptor, and an attending on the inpatient service. He is interested in all areas of Internal Medicine, reflected by his diverse research publications and compassionate care.
