Dr. Misha Movahed-Ezazi attended medical school at the American University of the Caribbean in Sint Maarten. She completed her residency training in Anatomical and Clinical Pathology at Hartford Hospital in Connecticut. Following her residency, she completed a 2-year Neuropathology fellowship training program at NYU Langone in Manhattan, where she was extensively trained in diagnosis of tumor and non-tumor disease of the brain and spine, autopsy pathology, molecular pathology, and telepathology/artificial intelligence. Her primary areas of research and expertise is with artificial intelligence and stimulated Raman histology (SRH) in which she conducted a the first pathology based published clinical validation study for SRH-image based intraoperative diagnosis of brain tumors alongside Dr. Daniel Orringer and Dr. Matija Snuderl, whom are experts in the field.
