Provider Biography
Mallika Gopal, MD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery, Division of Vascular Surgery at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. A native of NJ, Dr. Gopal received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Minors in Political Science and Photography from the University of Kentucky. She went on to complete her medical degree at Boston University with a concentration in Global Surgery, a passion she has cultivated through her volunteer missions throughout her training in Africa, Asia, and South America. She joins us after recently completing her Integrated Vascular Surgery residency at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. Dr. Gopal presented her clinical research into treatments for carotid stenosis, aortic aneurysmal disease, venous stenting, and chronic limb ischemia on the national stage.
Dr. Gopal will be seeing patients in The Vascular Center at University Hospital as well as our faculty practice on the campus of Trinitas Regional Medical Center.
