Provider Biography
Dr. Fernandez received his medical degree from Ponce School of Medicine and completed residency training in Internal Medicine at Rutgers- NJMS. After graduation, he stayed on to join the faculty as part of the Division of General Internal Medicine where he focuses on delivering high-quality patient-centered care in the inpatient setting. He has continued in his role as clinician-educator and the residents enjoy having him on floors as an attending. Additionally, he serves as a preceptor for medicine consults and admissions when residents rotate with him during their third year.
